We both are advanced scuba divers and are looking foreward to our first Blue water experience hopefully this winter. If you are an avid diver E-Mail us! We usually dive in Austin at Lake Travis.There is a spot down there just for divers called Windy Point. It is on the south end of the lake. There are a couple of boats sunkin in several areas and there is a pecan orchard at about 90 feet. We have also found a old Pinto at about 70 feet. The visibility is about 15 feet at Lake Travis. We also like to dive at Scuba Point at Possum Kingdom lake. There are only a couple of things sunken there but there are really neat caves and grottos at about 60 feet. I recommend wearing at least a shorty wetsuit when diving here because of the sheer drop offs tend to make the water a little bit colder.
